The piece is slow-paced, much like the theme from the Cloud Atlas film. The title sequence uses dots to convey the lives of the story. In other words, each dot represents the different worlds of the characters in the story. Lines intersect as well in order to symbolize the connection that the characters make across time. The dots and lines are revealed slowly and calmly with a cloud-like ink bleed technique.
Music: Prelude: The Atlas March by Tom Tykwer, Johnny Klimek, and Reinhold Heil.
